What is going to happen to the RES-Q products? What is going to happen to the RES-Q products? The RES-Q Labor Resource Management and Perioperative Resource Management products will continue to be supported just as they were prior to the merger. RES-Q will continue to offer its patient acuity/classification system. Concerro acquired RES-Q to enhance its employee scheduling, operating room management, and patient acuity system market. Concerro intends to leverage and integrate RES-Q’s depth of knowledge in these areas and is committed to the continuing support of these products for all RES-Q clients. How will this impact our service levels? There will be no change in the excellent service you receive from RES-Q. In fact, you can expect your array of dependable resources to actually increase. Delivering “take your breath away” service continues to be our most important mission. Will the RES-Q scheduler continue to exist? Yes, you will continue to use RES-Q today, the same as always. The RES-Q products will continue to evolve for years to come. Who do I call for service and training? Our staff remains unchanged: Jeanne, Dwain, Greg, Janet, Sharie, and Doug will continue to deliver the excellent service you have come to expect from RES-Q. Will my Client Support Representative be the same? Yes, all RES-Q employees will continue to have their same client responsibilities. All RES-Q phone numbers will stay the same. As the transition proceeds, email will eventually forward to new concerro.com email addresses. Will we still get product enhancements and bug fixes? Yes, as with the ShiftSelect and CommandAware products, Concerro is committed to continuing the support and growth of the RES-Q product line. RES-Q will be leveraging additional Concerro resources to enhance our staff and to offer you expanded functionality and capability. What happens to the RES-Q employees? All of the RES-Q employees will continue on as Concerro employees. All RES-Q staff are very excited about the opportunities that Concerro brings to RES-Q. RES-Q and Concerro share the same culture and passion to deliver the best client experience in the industry, providing the only management tools that improves both the quality of life of your employees…and your bottom line. Concerro is the only management system capable of improving both your employees’ quality of life and your bottom line performance, using Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Concerro is now the premier system for delivering web-based total shift management and incident command solutions to healthcare organizations. Founded in 2002, Concerro has over 400 hospital clients throughout the US. After merging with RES-Q, our combined companies have a client base of nearly 600 hospitals spanning across 5 countries. Why did RES-Q merge with Concerro? In a rapidly evolving, ever-expanding sector, accurate and efficient growth is essential to providing clients the services on which they depend. RES-Q has always offered unsurpassed service to its clients. Concerro has done the same for its clients. The fit between the two companies allows each to grow and adapt much more effectively, foremost for our respective clients. The quality of each company’s respective assets allows us to move ahead as an integrated force in the world of management, allowing us to provide our clients with even more premium tools with which to manage their operations. Merging the two companies was the most efficient and effective means of achieving that objective. Is Mike Meisel still going to be involved? Yes, Mike Meisel will continue as President of RES-Q Healthcare Systems managing the RES-Q operations for the next year. He will also begin his new responsibilities at Concerro as the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing. This is a very exciting opportunity for Mike and he directs the combined RES-Q and Concerro software teams to continue RES-Q’s leadership as the #1 ranked labor resource management system. How will RES-Q clients benefit from this merger? “Becoming part of Concerro is the best way for RES-Q to take our commitment to unequaled service forward into the next decade”, states Mike Meisel. “We will have more resources in an organization with deeper bench strength to serve our clients even better. The RES-Q staff that has provided such excellent service to you over the years will now function as part of Concerro’s larger Client Services Department. They will have a terrific leader and mentor in Cindy Watson, Concerro’s Vice President of Client Services. Cindy is a senior healthcare executive with a unique blend of expertise in operations, account management and marketing. We’ve been impressed with her dedication to client services, and you will be, too. RES-Q’s developers will become part of Concerro’s expanded Engineering Department which also offers more resources than RES-Q can on its own. Mark Johnson is the Vice President of Engineering, and he is responsible for software engineering and technical services at Concerro. He has a great background in staff management and patient scheduling systems and has led development teams at Per-Se Technologies (ANSOS & ORSOS) and At Staff.” We love the RES-Q Labor Resource Management System. Will we be forced to change? No changes will need to occur. New opportunities will now be available to RES-Q clients should a “Software as a service” (SaaS) solution be preferable. As opposed to traditional software purchase and installation, SaaS offers clients software applications hosted from a remote offsite server, accessed via a web browser from anywhere in the world. SaaS software is delivered with no upfront cost as a subscription over time. What’s going to change now that RES-Q is part of Concerro? Initially, you should not see any changes. All of the RES-Q employees, including Mike Meisel, will remain with the company. Over time, we will blend the organizations, allowing RES-Q to have access to Concerro’s vast support and development services. By cross-training the Concerro support and development staff on the RES-Q products, we will deepen the capabilities of our organization, expanding the levels of service and enhancing our ability to continue to deliver you new, thoughtful, cutting edge technology. We have been through mergers with other vendors and they all say the same thing; that nothing is going to change. Why should we believe you? For two reasons. First, if you’ve been a client of either company, you’re already familiar with our level of commitment to you. Second, because there have never been two companies like Concerro and RES-Q. Both companies’ ideologies stem from a common, steadfast belief that is reflected in the nature of our products and services. No two companies can possibly claim the breadth and depth of expertise in truly effective management systems. RES-Q’s award-winning and complementary labor management and scheduling applications are the only solutions that align completely with Concerro’s strategy to help healthcare organizations control labor costs through workforce optimization rather than reduction To those who are familiar with RES-Q and Concerro, this merger should be viewed as a commitment to our growth, which is once again, a commitment to you, our valued clients. RES-Q has always been about delivering the best customer service. Having direct access to Mike Meisel has always been a huge benefit for us. What can we expect from now on? You can expect the same stellar service, commitment to client support, and access to Mike as before. RES-Q’s services and support staffs will now be augmented by Concerro’s support team. The RES-Q software developers will have access to additional development, testing, and QA resources. Mike Meisel will be able to focus his 30 years of healthcare scheduling expertise on enhancing both the RES-Q and Concerro product line. And with these exciting changes comes a heightened commitment to you, our valued clients. Back to the top of the page | |
