Comments above are the opinion of the doctor quoted and may not be typical; results vary.

A favorite of satisfied customers, Res-Q 1250 is a fish oil concentrate with more omega-3s in a single softgel capsule than most other supplements. Omega-3s, also called fatty acids, are "good fats" and an important nutrient lacking in many American diets.

Res-Q 1250 softgels are ultra-purified to give you omega-3s with no fish oil aftertaste.

8 REASONS TO TAKE FISH OIL

The omega-3s in fish oil are found to support:

  1. A healthy heart*
  2. Triglycerides*
  3. Circulation*
  4. The natural inflammatory response*
  5. Joint mobility and flexibility*
  6. Brain and eye health*
  7. Overall health and wellbeing*
  8. Mood*

CONCENTRATED OMEGA-3s

Res-Q 1250 is formulated with 690 mg of combined EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexeanoic acid), the two most researched omega-3s.

Growing evidence shows that EPA and DHA are anti-inflammatory and heart healthy.*

  • Why You Need EPA: EPA supports a balanced inflammatory response throughout the body and promotes cardiovascular function.*  Recent research indicates that chronic inflammation is considered to be a major trigger for disease.
  • Why You Need DHA: DHA is the most abundant omega-3 in the brain and retina. Cells in your body use it to communicate with each other. DHA is important to brain development and function.
  • How much EPA and DHA in Each 1250 Softgel?  Each Res-Q 1250 softgel contains 390 mg of EPA and 300 mg of DHA. That is approximately 690 mg of omega-3s for less than $0.28 per capsule; two to three times more omega-3 than other brands.

CLEAN AND PURIFIED IN NORWAY

Res-Q 1250 undergoes an extensive purification process to ensure its purity and safety.* We start with small cold-water fish caught in deep regions of the ocean.

In a pharmaceutically licensed, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified facility in the fjords of Norway, the fish oil undergoes an extensive purification process including molecular distillation to remove pollutants such as PCBs, dioxins and heavy metals like mercury. Each batch is independently three-party tested for purity from 250 possible toxic compounds by Eurofins, one of the top toxicology labs in the world. Lastly Res-Q 1250 is encapsulated and bottled in the U.S.A.

STAYS FRESH WITH NO FISH OIL AFTERTASTE

A special antioxidant blend maintains the freshness inside the capsule. We include a very light lemon/lime flavor for a pleasant taste.  Also available as a refreshing lemon flavored liquid!

I have been taking this product for at least six months. I was feeling stiff after sitting for less than an hour, so I decided to give 1250 a shot. Taking less than the recommended dose, just one every morning has alleviated that issue. I can eat at a restaurant or go to the movies, sit down to play a game and no longer have to stand and wait for my muscles to get going. Glad I tried this.

My body was in constant pain, the bigger the joint the bigger the pain. My doctor had me on a medicine that cobalt treatment patients take to control the white blood cells. I started taking the Omegas about 1 year ago and was able to ween myself off of the prescription pills. These may be a bit expensive, but for me, the cost is nothing compared to a painfree lifestyle.

I was borderline high 3 months ago and started taking RESQ 1250. My recent bloodwork pleased my doctor. My HDL was 88 and she was thrilled. My LDL was down but needs to go a bit lower. I was only taking about 3 a day but will increase to at least 4 and see what happens next time!

I heard about this product searching the web and decided to give it a try. I have been using the 1250 for about a month now. I haven't seen my Dr. yet to get a lipid panel so I am expecting great results in Nov. What I have noticed is that my hair is sprouting grey hair and its so silvery and shiny. So I am thinking that this is a great sign that this product is truly working. I will come back and give my review on my cholesterol numbers soon. I have now become a fan. My only issue is the price, however, its still worth it.

About 15 years ago, my cholesterol was 285. My doctor, and a friend of mine who was an ICU nurse, recommended I take Res Q 1250. My doctor set up blood work for 2 weeks after I started the ResQ 1250, 3 in the morning and 3 at night and LDL-X, 2 in the morning and 2 at night. After 14 days, my cholesterol was 165. Also, my mother's carotid had 75% blockage. Her vascular surgeon asked me to put her on Res Q to remove the blockage and I did, the same dose as me, and within 3 months, her blockage was down to 40%. This stuff is lifesaving!

I have been taking Res-Q 1250 capsules for a number of years. I believe taking them is keeping me healthy. In my research, I found that this product can help in preventing colon cancer. When I was 43, I had polyps that were removed just before turning to cancer. Ever since I have been taking Res-Q, I have had no polyps. I am now 63 and take no medicines. My cholesterol levels are very good. I will continue taking this product.

I've been taking the 1250 along with the 1250+ religiously for over three years. I used to experience atrial fibrillation a few times a week. I doubt if I've noticed it occur 10 times since I've been on the 1250.

My grandmother died of a stroke when she was 41, so needless to say, it is a pretty big concern for me. You just plain feel better when you take it. You really notice the difference if you go one day without it. I'm hooked!

This product is several times stronger than any of the other oils I have tried.
EPA is used in combination with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in fish oil preparations for a variety of conditions, including preventing and reversing heart disease, and decreasing irregular heartbeats; as well as asthma, cancer, menstrual problems, hot flashes, hay fever, lung diseases, lupus erythematosus, and kidney disease. EPA and DHA are also used in combination for migraine headache prevention in adolescents, skin infections, Behçet’s syndrome, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, psoriasis, Raynaud’s syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis.
It has reversed my high blood pressure and my high cholesterol.
I tried krill oil and it has 50mg of each (EPA and DHA). I would have to take 8 of their soft gels to equal 1 of these.
This stuff will work.

I have been taking six capsules of Res-Q 1250 and red yeast rice for over 10 years. My Cholesterol originally was 260 and my trigs were over 300! I was also on Lipitor. Within a year I was off of the Lipitor, my cholesterol was 142, and my trigs were down to 71. 9 years later the numbers are still in the same ranges. As part of my physical I recently had a catheterization. There was no plaque! These results document the "ultimate reversal".

I began taking Res-Q 1250 in the late 1990's. My blood test results had the doctor asking me "what I do to get results that great!" My health insurance premium was also lowered because of my blood test results. I then added the LDL-X, just because I know what red yeast can add to an already healthy body. I can't imagine going to bed with first taking my Res-Q products. Yes, I AM a Res-Q user!!!

I keep them in the refrigerator and I have not experienced any fishy after-tastes. I incorporate 1250 in my diet and I have gone from a blood pressure of 190/70 to 112/72. I am very happy with all the benefits of 1250.

Benefits of taking ResQ-1250 and LDL-X Review by Dolly

I have been taking ResQ1250 along with LDL-X for over ten years to control my cholosterol. Ten years ago I had a stent put in and was on a statin for a short time and had muscle problems. I stopped taking the statin and just control it with your products. My doctor would prefer I be on a statin medication but goes along with my wishes. My most recent blood work showed my levels were higher but I was not being as careful with my diet. I have mentioned your products to many people I know that have high cholesterol. I also feel it has helped with some of my arthritic problems.

FAQs

Why should I choose Res-Q 1250 over another fish oil supplement?

Res-Q 1250 contains 690 mg of heart healthy EPA and DHA omega-3s. Each batch is ultra-purified and third-party independently tested for toxins and pollutants.

When you compare Res-Q 1250 with other omega-3 supplements, you will find that it is more thoroughly purified and contains more milligrams of EPA and DHA per serving. When comparing the cost you will find that Res-Q 1250 is less expensive per gram of EPA and DHA than many other omega-3 supplements.

How should I take Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil?

Adults take 4-6 softgels daily. Take 2-3 softgels a half-hour prior to a meal and 2-3 softgels before bedtime. For larger doses please consult your doctor.

Does Res-Q 1250 omega-3 contain mercury, PCBs or other contaminants?

Res-Q 1250 undergoes an extensive purification process, including molecular distillation, to ensure removal of heavy metals and pollutants. Every batch of Res-Q 1250 is tested to ensure purity and EPA/ DHA content. The certificate of analysis for each batch of Res-Q 1250 demonstrates that it meets and exceeds manufacturing specifications.

What do I do if the soft gels are too large for me?

Res-Q 1250 Liquid is an excellent, tasty option that can be taken by the spoonful. Or try Res-Q 2500 TG our smallest omega-3 softgel.

Res-Q 1250 only contains omega-3; don't I need a product that contains both omega-3 and omega-6?

Omega-6 is readily obtained through diet. The average American diet contains approximately a 20:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3; however, the ideal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 is 1:1.*

Can I take Res-Q 1250 and Res-Q CalamarineTM together?

Yes. Both products contain EPA and DHA omega-3s, whereas Res-Q Calamarine contains higher amounts of DHA than does Res-Q 1250.

Are there any side effects in taking omega-3 fish oil?

Omega-3 fish oil is generally well tolerated. Everyone's body responds differently to natural supplements; results vary. Lower-grade fish oils have been known to cause upset stomach, and fishy breath. Better quality omega-3s often do not.

We always recommend reviewing supplements with your doctor prior to taking them.

What does the "1250" in Res-Q 1250 stand for?

The "1250" stands for the actual size (how many milligrams the capsules can hold) and weight (milligrams is a measurement of weight) of the soft gel capsule. This means that the capsules can hold up to 1250 mg.

If “1250” in the name Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil stands for the capsule size why doesn’t each capsule contain 1250 mg of omega-3?

Each capsule of Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil contains EPA and DHA omega-3, as well as other long chain omega-3 fatty acids. It also contains lemon flavor and a proprietary antioxidant blend that helps maintain the freshness of the oil within each capsule.

Can pregnant women, nursing mothers take Res-Q 1250?

Research shows that pregnant women, nursing mothers and the developing fetus can benefit from omega-3 (EPA and DHA) supplementation.* However, we recommend you consult with your doctor prior to starting any new supplement.

Can I give Res-Q 1250 to my child?

Children can also benefit from Res-Q 1250 omega-3.* Res-Q 1250 Liquid is easy to swallow. We recommend you discuss supplements with your pediatrician prior to giving them to your child.

Can I give Res-Q 1250 to my pets and how much do I give them?

We recommend you speak with your veterinarian regarding supplementation for your pets.

Can I get enough omega-3 from eating fish?

Fish contain varying amounts of omega-3s, however to get the amounts of omega-3 proven in research to support heart health you would have to eat pounds of fish every day.* While a few servings per week is beneficial fish do contain pollutants and heavy metals so caution is needed.

Can I get enough omega-3 from flax seed oil?

Flaxseed oil is not a good source of EPA and DHA the two most researched and beneficial omega-3s. It primarily contains polyunsaturated fatty acids such as alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

The body can only convert a small percentage of ALA into EPA and DHA so it is very difficult to obtain the recommended amounts of EPA and DHA to support heart health from flaxseed oil.

I’ve heard fish oil can go rancid. How do I know Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil is fresh?

Res-Q 1250 contains a propriety antioxidant blend consisting of rosemary extract, ascorbyl palmitate and natural tocopherols to keep the oil fresh with each softgel capsule.

Why does Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil seem more expensive than other fish oils I’ve seen?

Often fish oil appears inexpensive because it contains low amounts of the beneficial omega-3s called EPA and DHA. To compare pricing it is important to determine how much you are paying per gram for these beneficial ingredients.

Some supplements claim to have high amounts of omega-3 in each capsule but when you look at the label the amounts of EPA and DHA are extremely low or not even specified.

It is also important to check the serving size used to determine the milligrams of omega-3 listed in the supplement facts. A product may look high in omega-3 because the milligrams provided are for several capsules. Knowing how many milligrams of omega-3 is in each capsule will help you avoid needing to take more capsules then you anticipated.

When you do a comparison based on how much omega-3 is in a supplement Res-Q 1250 is most often less expensive. It is a best value because you pay less for the health boosting omega-3s and you get more omega-3s in each capsule compared to than other brands.
