My doctor runs my EPA and DHA omega-3 levels as part of regular blood work every 3-6 months. I've taken fish oil for years but it's only been since switching to this one that, along with my cholesterol improving, my EPA and DHA levels are up where the doctor wants them. I changed over from the original 1250 caps three or four months ago. It’s hard for me to tell how much effect these have overall but as far as I can tell, no difference from the original. Lab work done last month still shows all cholesterol and triglycerides in acceptable range. My dogs (ages 10 and 14) each get a cap a day too, and so far so good. I give it 5 stars because it’s on SUPER sale!
