Res-Q 1250 Liquid is a concentrated triglyceride form of omega-3 containing more EPA and DHA omega-3 in a single spoonful than most other supplements. Omega-3s, sometimes called fatty acids, are "good fats" and an important nutrient often lacking in many American diets.

Res-Q 1250 Liquid is ultra-purified to give you omega-3s with no fish oil aftertaste. Convenient and delicious light lemon flavor. A nice alternative to capsules.  Designed for people of all ages.*

8 REASONS TO TAKE FISH OIL

The omega-3s in fish oil are found to support:

  1. A healthy heart*
  2. Triglycerides*
  3. Circulation*
  4. The natural inflammatory response*
  5. Joint mobility and flexibility*
  6. Brain and eye health*
  7. Overall health and wellbeing*
  8. Mood*

CONCENTRATED OMEGA-3s

Res-Q 1250 Liquid is formulated to contain approximately 1,250 mg of combined EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexeanoic acid), the two most researched omega-3s.

Growing evidence shows that EPA and DHA are anti-inflammatory and heart healthy.*

  • Why You Need EPA: EPA supports a balanced inflammatory response throughout the body and promotes cardiovascular funtion.* Recent research indicates that chronic inflammation is considered to be a major trigger for disease.
  • Why You Need DHA: DHA is the most abundant omega-3 in the brain and retina.  Cells in your body use it to communicate with each other. DHA is important to brain development and function.*
  • How much EPA and DHA in Each Res-Q 1250 Spoonful?  You receive 740-825 mg of EPA and 460-550 mg of DHA in each spoonful. That is approximately 1250 mg of purified omega-3s; three to four times more than other brands.

CLEAN AND PURIFIED IN NORWAY

The Res-Q 1250 Liquid undergoes an extensive purification process to ensure its purity and safety.* We start with small cold-water fish caught in deep regions of the ocean.

In a pharmaceutical licensed, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certified facility in the fjords of Norway, the fish oil undergoes an extensive purification process including molecular distillation to ensure it is clean and free of PCBs, dioxins and heavy metals like mercury. Each batch is independently three-party tested for purity from 250 possible toxic compounds by Eurofins, one of the top toxicology labs in the world. Lastly Res-Q 1250 is bottled in the U.S.A.

STAYS FRESH WITH NO FISH OIL AFTERTASTE

We bottle the liquid in a dark brown glass container and add a special antioxidant blend to maintain freshness. To keep it tasting fresh and delicious a very light lemon/lime flavor is added for a pleasant taste.

Why should I take Res-Q 1250?

Res-Q 1250 contains approximately 1,250 mg combined EPA and DHA omga-3. Each batch is third-party independently tested for toxins and pollutants.

When you compare Res-Q 1250 with many other omega-3 supplements, you will find that it is more thoroughly purified and contains more milligrams of EPA and DHA per serving. When comparing the cost of Res-Q 1250 with other brands, you'll find that Res-Q 1250 is less expensive per gram of EPA and DHA than many other omega-3 supplements.

How should I take Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil?

Adults take 2-3 teaspoons daily. Take 2-3 teaspoons prior to a meal or bedtime, or 1 tablespoon (3 teaspoons) prior to a meal or before bedtime.

Does Res-Q 1250 omega-3 contain mercury, PCBs or other contaminants?

Res-Q 1250 undergoes an extensive purification process, including molecular distillation, to ensure removal of heavy metals and pollutants. Every batch of Res-Q 1250 is tested to ensure purity and EPA/ DHA content. The certificate of analysis for each batch of Res-Q 1250 demonstrates that it meets and exceeds manufacturing specifications.

Res-Q 1250 only contains omega-3. Don't I need a product that contains both omega-3 and omega-6?

Omega-6 is readily obtained through diet. The average American diet contains approximately a 20:1 ratio of omega-6 to omega-3; however, the ideal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 is 1:1.*

Can I take Res-Q 1250 and Res-Q Calamarine together?

Yes. Both products contain EPA and DHA omega-3s, whereas Res-Q Calamarine contains higher amounts of DHA than does Res-Q 1250.

Are there any side effects in taking omega-3 fish oil?

Omega-3 fish oil is generally well tolerated. Everyone's body responds differently to natural supplements; results vary. Lower-grade fish oils have been known to cause upset stomach, and fishy breath. Better quality omega-3s often do not.

We always recommend reviewing supplements with your doctor prior to taking them.

What does the "1250" stand for?

The "1250" in the product name Res-Q 1250, stands for the actual size (how many milligrams the capsules can hold) and weight (milligrams is a measurement of weight) of the capsule capacity. This means that the Res-Q 1250 soft gels can hold up to 1250 mg.

Can pregnant women, nursing mothers take Res-Q 1250?

Research shows that pregnant women, nursing mothers and the developing fetus can benefit from omega-3 (EPA and DHA) supplementation.* However, we recommend you consult with your doctor prior to starting any new supplement.

Children can also benefit from Res-Q 1250 omega-3.* Please discuss supplements with your pediatrician prior to use.

Can I give Res-Q 1250 to my pets and how much do I give them?

We recommend you speak with your veterinarian regarding supplementation for your pets.

Can I get enough omega-3 from eating fish?

Fish contain varying amounts of omega-3s, however to get the amounts of omega-3 proven in research to support heart health you would have to eat pounds of fish every day.* While a few servings per week is beneficial fish do contain pollutants and heavy metals so caution is needed.

Can I get enough omega-3 from flax seed oil?

Flaxseed oil is not a good source of EPA and DHA the two most researched and beneficial omega-3s. It primarily contains polyunsaturated fatty acids such as alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

The body can only convert a small percentage of ALA into EPA and DHA so it is very difficult to obtain the recommended amounts of EPA and DHA to support heart health from flaxseed oil.

I’ve heard fish oil can go rancid. How do I know Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil is fresh?

We bottle it in a dark brown glass container and add a propriety antioxidant blend consisting of rosemary extract, ascorbyl palmitate and natural tocopherols to keep the oil fresh.

Why does Res-Q 1250 omega-3 fish oil seem more expensive than other fish oils I’ve seen?

Often fish oil appears inexpensive because it contains low amounts of the omega-3s called EPA and DHA. To compare pricing it is important to determine how much you are paying for these specific ingredients.

Some supplements claim to have high amounts of omega-3 but when you look at the label the amounts of EPA and DHA are extremely low or not even specified.

When you do a comparison based on how much EPA and DHA is in a supplement, Res-Q 1250 is not more expensive. It is a good value because you pay less for the EPA and DHA omega-3s; plus you get more omega-3s in each serving compared to other brands.
